Made To Order
All our jewellery are made to order. We make the products after you place the order. Reasons for made to order:
- Made to order gives us the flexibility to order the perfect jewellery for you. Most of the time, the other jewellers keep a bunch of jewellery set ready with the center stone changing based on customer requirement. So your jewellery will try to adapt the stone and not the other way round. This makes the prong vulnerable to get loosen which might result in loosing the stones. We make the whole piece one by one from scratch.
- We make the jewellery for you based on your sepcifications.
- We do not keep inventories which reduces the cost of manufacturing. Most jewellers carry forward the extra cost incurred through their customers.
- The metal color options are worked on after the confirmation.
Steps followed once an order is placed:
The total time taken to ship out is 10 business days. Shipping can take another 3-4 business days. Plan your order accordingly if this purchase is meant to be a birthday gift, engagement gift or a gift for certain event.
You get a call from Vai Ra team on the order. We ask you of your metal color, ring/bracelet size, and we confirm the gold purity and the carat weight with you. This is the time you should talk about the customization you want to add, like adding a name to the ring, etc. This happens within 24 hours of you placing the order. Makes sure you are available in the phone number you have provided.
We send the software file (CAD/STL) to our workshop team. The diamond cutter cuts the gemstone and the jeweller benchers starts working on the wax model. The casting, polishing and moissanite setting take 5-7 business days.
Once the final polishing is done, the product goes for hallmarking and brand printing. This takes 1-2 business days.
The product now goes to our moissanite certified companies for quality checks and to certify the moissanite. This takes 1-2 business days.
The product again goes through a quality check to make sure the stones has not comed out of it's prongs during the hallmarking and certification. A final polishing is done to brush off the debris.Then the product is double wrapped in two boxed. It first goes in a cardboard/PU/Suede box. This makes sure the box doesn't move during transition. The box is added in a metal box. Metal box secures the box inside from the wear out that might happen on the box during transition. We also send the certificate, invoice and the insurance papers (incase you are getting your product insured). The product is added in the mailer envelop. This takes 1 business day.
The package is then shipped through insured carriers. This can take 3-4 business days. This time frame can change in real time due to different challenges faced by the shipping partners. International orders will take 10 business days. We will send you a video of the product before shipping out.
